This part time position involves working with children ages 3 to 14 years three days per week and running an elementary after school sports program (Soccer, Basketball, and Running Club). This position is an opportunity for an individual to work with a highly skilled staff in an environment that is focused on the development of children as individuals. The school focuses on the whole child; physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.
The successful candidate for this position will be:
* Certified in Physical Education
* Experienced in working with children between 3 to 14 years old
* Able to demonstrate the connection between physical education and the development of the whole child.
* Have experience in or demonstrate knowledge of the Montessori philosophy of education.
* Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Wilmington Montessori School Mission.
