Montessori Children’s House Teacher

Downtown Montessori Academy is seeking an energetic, self-reliant, flexible individual to join our team of Elementary classroom teachers. Candidate must have excellent classroom management skills with an ability to build strong relationships with parents and peers. Focus on implementing the Montessori approach in the classroom by creating a warm, nurturing, safe environment for children, in which individuality is respected and independence is encouraged.

Must be AMI or AMS certified and possess a bachelor’s degree. If candidate is not DPI certified, must be willing to become DPI certified in elementary education.

Our mission has always been to provide a Montessori education for elementary children within a small community of learners.
