As part of the Endeavor Schools Family, Endeavor Montessori Schools- Pflugerville is currently seeking an experienced Montessori Education Program Manager  to provide day to day leadership alongside the School Leader.

The primary objectives of the Montessori Education Program Manager are to: (1) Inspire positive community interactions, (2) Ensure quality care and education of all children, and (3) Foster and develop the educational environments and staff. The Montessori Education Director reports to the School Leader. The Montessori Education Director will train and facilitate the implementation of the Montessori pedagogy in a safe, healthy and nurturing classroom environment that supports each child’s social, emotional and intellectual growth and development.

Requirements:

Ensure quality care and education of all children.
Foster and develop the educational environments and staff.
Self-motivated leader with strong classroom management and parent communication skills
Ability to train, motivate, and inspire the Lead teachers and Assistant teachers as the Montessori expert in the school
Maintain regular communication with parents
Contribute to the effective operation of the overall early care and education
Carry out activities on a daily basis and evaluate the effectiveness of child development activities
Collaborate with Lead teachers and help support and promote health of the school
Meet professional education requirements of School, State, and Montessori accrediting organization.
Serve as Lead Guide as necessary (absences, vacancies, allow for Lead Guide observations outside their environments).

Experience and Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, preferred. Equivalent combination of AA degree, training, and 3-5 years’ experience in the field of Education will be considered.
AMI or AMS trained and certified, preferred.
Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in in early Childhood Montessori education.
A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience with strong performance results.
Proficiency with technology and software applications including current version of MS Office.
