Overview

We have an exciting opening in our Middle School program for a MACTE credentialed Montessori Guide (Adolescence I) effective immediately. Consideration will also be given to candidates currently pursuing MACTE credentialing. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established program in an accredited school. The right candidate is a team-player and enthusiastic proponent of the Montessori Method as it applies to adolescents. The candidate can be a recent graduate (or about to graduate), or an experienced teacher looking to expand their leadership skills in an independent school setting. Ideally, the candidate would have experience and a record of success teaching highschool level math courses (Algebra and Geometry) as well as English/Language Arts.  Our program is taught by two Middle School guides and cocurricular instructors devoted to offering our students an intellectually stimulating curriculum, and opportunities for socio-emotional and leadership development including entrepreneurship, job internships, field trips, participation in MMUN, and other age-appropriate social outlets.  We are currently operating with restrictions designed to minimize the spread of COVID-19, which may include delivering some classes on-line via synchronous and asynchronous methods.

Compensation based on experience.
