Overview

Our Montessori School is looking for Montessori Trained Teachers in the following areas; Upper Elementary and Secondary.

We are a Private Montessori school located in South Orlando. Our team is comprised of like-minded Montessorians who work in a child-centered environment, follow the teachings, principles, and philosophy of Maria Montessori and provide a memorable experience for the child of all ages in a hands-on learning environment.

Must love to work with young children, ages 9 to 15 years old.
Must be available to work Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4 PM, some evenings, from August to May for school events.
Must have Montessori Training Certificate Elementary 1, Elementary 2, and Secondary or Teaching Certificate
A minimum of 1-year experience in a Montessori classroom
Must be active, creative, dynamic in an educational environment
Must be 21 years of age
Fluent in English
Must be authorized to work in the USA
High School Diploma considered, Bachelors or high preferred
Moderate level of supervision, able to work alone or with classroom partner
Team player and flexible
Must be able to communicate with other teachers, staff members, and parents
Must be able to complete progress reports and plan lessons
Pass background screening through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)
Complete CPR and First Aid
Experience in childcare and previous working experience with children will be considered for this position
Experience in the Montessori Environment is required
Montessori School is located in Orlando Florida
Salary will be dependent on experience, references, and qualifications
